John Coltrane – “Naima” Jamtrack

Topics: Jam Tracks

John Coltrane composed the Ballard Naima in 1959.  The first recording appeared on the album Giant Steps. It’s a beautiful piece, played over a rich, complex set of chords. Its something that I’ve been meaning to have a go at for a long time.

Lets get to the main harmonies.

You should be able to get a copy of the head from the usual Fake books etc.

Here’s the backing track.
