This is an interesting lesson, not just because of the amazing playing, but also because its a great example of Guitar Fretboard Patterns. Not only that but he’s using the very same 3-1-3-1 type pattern that I’ve highlighted in my Sweeping 9th Arpeggios and Pentatonic Scales and Sweep Picking articles.
As mentioned before, these shapes crop up again and again, so learning them can really accelerate your learning.
